Welcome

It is an honor and a privilege for us to present the 8th Course on Update and Training in Colorectal Surgery taking place in Barcelona, Spain from February 19^th to the 21^rst 2020.

In this new edition, we come back to Barcelona. Our venue will be the hotel Crowne Plaza on Thursday 20^th and Friday 21 ^rst. We will enjoy from stimulating discussions, clinical cases, debates and lectures from national and international experts in the field of colorectal surgery.  The course is complemented by the live surgery sessions at the Hospital de Bellvitge during Wednesday 19^th.

The aim of this meeting remains on approaching the latest developments on the field to all colorectal specialists through national and international experts and keeping the friendly and close environment, and addressing each topic with objectivity and deepness. As every year we have seen a high degree of contentment shown at the satisfaction surveys and we are committed to certainly maintain the level in this new edition. 

The surgery program for this 2020 edition will include new techniques and treatments for colorectal surgery that we can study in detail by the hand of the best experts.
